SwitchBot Hub Mini – Smart Remote and Home Automation Hub with Matter

Simple to setup and provides a gateway (link between devices and the internet) for certain Switchbot devices - in my case it is needed for the Switch Bots themselves.

Bought it along with a Switchbot button pusher, as was needed for that to work.Button pusher is exceptional quality, but the hub feels really cheap in comparison, and the tone is really loud when activated.BUT set up is easy and does the job it needs to do. Just a shame it doesn't meet the quality of the button pusher considering they're the same price point.Noticed a huge increase in the price since I bought it. Bought for $39.50 AUD, now listed as $59.65 AUD. Maybe a pre-Prime Day artificial hick so later discounting looks better? If not, a hike of over 50% is pretty intense.

Steer far away from SwitchBot. In my dealings they have been dishonest, avoidant and behaved exactly in the opposite manner of how you would expect a reputable company to act. Products prone to fault and app way too buggy.
