Switchbot is making me Coffee every morning for the last three years.A great addition to my Smart Home. I added my Breville Coffee machine to Alexa by turning the coffee machine on in the morning and once I return home.I also added Switchbot to control my old aircon to start cooling once the room temp is too high and we are at home.Switchbot is easy to use and install and very reliable.Highly recommended.

Simple to setup and provides a gateway (link between devices and the internet) for certain Switchbot devices - in my case it is needed for the Switch Bots themselves.

Bought it along with a Switchbot button pusher, as was needed for that to work.Button pusher is exceptional quality, but the hub feels really cheap in comparison, and the tone is really loud when activated.BUT set up is easy and does the job it needs to do. Just a shame it doesn't meet the quality of the button pusher considering they're the same price point.Noticed a huge increase in the price since I bought it. Bought for $39.50 AUD, now listed as $59.65 AUD. Maybe a pre-Prime Day artificial hick so later discounting looks better? If not, a hike of over 50% is pretty intense.

Steer far away from SwitchBot. In my dealings they have been dishonest, avoidant and behaved exactly in the opposite manner of how you would expect a reputable company to act. Products prone to fault and app way too buggy.

Great little hub. Ties in all my Switchbot gear flawlessly. The built-in IR Blaster is also powerful and easy to set up.

Installed this a month or so ago so I could turn our standard aircon unit into a smart device. Can now run via voice control using Alexa, set timers, adjust the thermostat etc… we use it many times every day & it’s so far worked perfectly every time. Very easy to set up. Love this!

Easy set up, nice and small and I appreciate the white light vs a bright annoying coloured light. I’ve found that it works half the time and takes several attempts to turn it on. Tried turning on remotely from work, the app and Google home said it was on but it wasn’t. If I’m home, it helps as my air con unit needs the remote pointing directly (line of sights) to the receiver. This device means I can just use an app with no worry for angles, or ask Google to do it for me. Shame it can’t remotely work every time.

The instructions only show half the process of setting it up. To get the rest, you have to scan the QR code to go to their website. But the page is blank, doesn't load anything.And the stupid app barely lets you do anything unless you sign in with an account.

this is simply used as a remote temperature gauge for our front room very simple and easy to use with alexa which is why I got the hub

I bought the hub mini to connect Switchbot to my google home. It has been great to be able to switch on my heater before I arrive home so I return to a nice warm house. I can also use voice command to turn off the heater when I am already in bed. Great product!

I bought the hub mini to connect my google home to my switchbot curtains. Its so great that when I'm lying in bed, I can open my curtains via voice command and wake up to natural light. Absolutely a staple to my home now. I was initially annoyed with how bright the light is, but soon realised that I can turn it off with the app! great product

Did not function with any IR device i owned, cheap build quality

I’ve been using my Bot, hub and thermostat for months now and no issues. I have them working with Alexa and using the IOS shortcuts. Works flawlessly every time. I really love the thermostat that I’ve placed in my fridge and can keep an eye on my fridge temperature. I can even ask Alexa what the temperature is and she’ll respond. I can’t wait to try out the switchbot curtain. The mini hub can even act as my IR remote and control my TV.

Amazing piece of tech to make your house autonomous and remotely take action.

I purchased this in order to add my air conditioner, sound bar and TV to Google Home.Set up was a bit fiddly, I had to try remotes multiple times to have the device find them, after about 45 minutes I had the remotes paired.After pairing and synching to google hone, I found that the commands that I can use are extremely basic. It's good for turning the tv and sound bar off and on and adjusting the volume. That's not much use to me as I need to specify specific inputs.The air conditioner basic functions can be used, temperature adjustment, fan speed, louvre adjustments and turning the appliance off and on. I can't set a timer via the app or google in order to turn the air conditioning on or off so overall this is complete waste of money.
